Getting started
Getting Started with Piql
Piql offers a unique, long-term digital preservation and data protection solution using piqlFilm, an immutable, offline, and off-grid storage medium designed to last over 1000 years.
There are two primary ways to begin securing your valuable data:
The Quick Start for Individuals and Teams
For a fast and user-friendly experience, start with the cloud-based platform, piqlConnect. This is ideal for most simpler users looking to easily upload and manage files for long-term archiving.
Register and Get Started with piqlConnect
- Sign Up: Go to the piqlConnect registration page to create an account. You can start a free trial and test out.
- Upload Data: Use the web-based file uploader to seamlessly ingest your files.
- Manage and Enrich: Utilize the platform to add or extract metadata and make it easy to search in the future.
- Choose Storage: Decide what data you want to keep available online or in our Frozen cloud and what you want to commit to the ultimate, offline security of piqlFilm (managed through the platform).
For Sophisticated or Enterprise Needs
If you have complex requirements—such as large-scale archival projects, advanced security needs, API integrations, or specific regulatory compliance — a direct consultation with a Piql expert is the best approach.
Contact Sales or a Local Partner
