Production Journey piqlFilm

A go-through of the production process of piqlFilm

Hi there, you might now have submitted your data to be stored on the piqlFilm!

Congratulations!

Now starts an exciting journey for your data, and as we often get questions on how we actually store data on piqlFilm, we though we could take you the through the production journey! There are basically three steps to the production journey

  1. Production - writing on the piqlWriter
  2. Processing the piqlFilm
  3. Validation of data on the piqlReader before packing and shipping to the vault

If you want subtitles, remember to turn on the captions (CC) of the videos.

Production

Once the data has been submitted through piqlConnect, the data is being verified before it is being sent to the piqlWriter: Simen explains how the piqlWriter works:

Processing

Validation on piqlReader

After the piqlFilm has been developed we run the piqlFilm on the piqlReader to ensure the production has been sucessful and the data is verified:

Packing in piqlBox and shipment to Vault

Once the data has been confirmed validated on the piqlReader, the piqlFilm is packaged in the piqlBox and shipped to the requested vault for physical storage, waiting to be requested for retrieval in the future:
