Name: The title of the file
Size: The size of the file

If this option is chosen for the Package, the file format is identified upon upload and classified either to be Preferred, Acceptable or Unsupported*.* To read more about this process, check out our article on future-proofing of files.
Date: Date shows the date and time of when the file was uploaded to piqlConnect.
Subjects: Subjects is similar to tags which indicates labels that you give the file. This makes the search easier as you will have more subjects to search on in order to relocate the file. Subject is the term used as part of the standard metadata schema Dublin Core.
At the end of the view, there are three small dots that allows you to edit or delete the file. Edit: The edit button shows that you can edit the information of the specific file, including metadata.
Delete: If you would like to delete file, click here and confirm.
If you check one file from the checkbox column, you will see that you get three options:
- AI metadata: We extract metadata from the thumbnails of the files and convert it into a description and tags (subjects) which make it a lot easier to search.
- Download. You can download the file.
- Delete: You can delete multiple file at the same time.
If you check multiple files at the same time, you can still apply AI metadata for all the checked files. You can also choose to delete all the selected files. Download of multiple files is currently not supported.
